The revenue was the source of income of king.this was to used to maintain the state and do the welfare things needed by the people. The tax was collected in various ways like jazia land revenue etc The king used this tax for improving army and to import and export goods. He also used this money for social welfare like hospitals dams he had to pay a tax to the church called a tithe. This was a tax on all of the farm produce he had produced in that year. ... Peasants also had to work for free on church land. They uses the taxes to improve there country working , giving proper things to there army
