Here, V = 30kV {tex} = 30 \times {10^3}V = 3 \times {10^4}V{/tex}

  1. hvmax = eV
    {tex}{v_{\max }} = \frac{{eV}}{h} = \frac{{1.6 \times {{10}^{ - 19}} \times 3 \times {{10}^4}}}{{6.63 \times {{10}^{ - 34}}}}Hz{/tex}
    {tex} = 7.24 \times {10^{18}}Hz{/tex}
  2. {tex}{\lambda _{\max }} = \frac{c}{{{v_{\max }}}} = \frac{{3 \times {{10}^8}}}{{7.24 \times {{10}^{18}}}}m{/tex}
    {tex} \Rightarrow {\lambda _{\max }} = 0.414 \times {10^{ - 10}} = m = 0.414\mathop A\limits^o {/tex}
    = 0.414 nm
