A vendor purchased dozens of bananas for rupees 450 .out of these 60 bananas werw found defective and could not be sold .at what rate per dozen should he sell the remaining bananas to make a profit of 10 %.

price of 50 dozen banana = Rs 450
total bananas = 50 x 12 = 600
diffective = 60
Good once = 600 - 60 = 540/12 = 20 dozens
Selling price per dozen = x
x/450 = 110/100 (orginal price + profit = 100 + 10 = 110)
x = 450 x 110/100
x = Rs 495
