    Resistance is a scalar quantity okkk and capacitance is also a scalar quantity as it has magnitude, but it has not direction.

    Resistance is a scaler quantity as it only has a magnitude. ... Some people have a misconception about resistance is that they equate resistance with a frictional force inherent in a conductor. So, they expect that resistance should be a vector quantity, antiparallel to the direction of the current.
