Given cos A = cos B
Hence, {tex}\frac{{AC}}{{AB}} = \frac{{BC}}{{AB}}{/tex}
{tex} \Rightarrow AC = BC{/tex}
Since angle opposite to equal sides in a {tex}\Delta {/tex} are equal
{tex}\therefore \angle B = \angle A{/tex}
Hence proved
