X+1/X-2 = X+2/X+4 => (X+1)(X+4) = (X+2)(X-2) {By doing cross multiplication} => X² + 4X + X + 4 = X² - 2X + 2X - 4 {multiplying the no. with each other...} => X²+ 5X + 4 = X² - 4 { Because (2X - 2X = 0) and (4X + X = 5X)} => X² - X² + 5X + 4 + 4 = 0 {moving all the no. at the left side} => 5X + 8 {simple addition & subtraction} => X = - 8/5 ~ Answer....
