Answer is 60/4=15m/s Let total distance be 4a Average velocity=total distance/total time =4a/(2a/12+t+t) as time interval is Same so 2a=16t+24t So the value of t=a/20 =4a/(2a/12+a/20+a/20) =4a*60/16a =60/4 =15m/s
