Becoz no. Of F atoms in SF6 are more,which will protect it sterically from being hydrolysed

SF6 doesn't go hydrolysis but SF4 does.. becoz SF4 is sterically protected since it is surrounded by only 4 F atom. as a result, attack of H2O molecule on s atom can take place easily nd hence hydrolysis occur.
