Quasi federal refers to a system of government where the distribution of powers between the centre and the state is not equal. Here the the central or the union government is more powerful than the provinces or regional government. Such a federal structure is primarily the result of holding together federation where centre ought to be more powerful than the states. For instance India, Spain, Belgium are quasi federal states .
