a=dv/dt, dv/dt×dx/dx, a=vdv/dx [dx/dt=v] adx=vdv , integrating dx by limit 0 to s and dv by limit u to v , a(s-0)=1/2 (v^2-u^2), from this as=1/2 (v2-u2), v2-u2=2as
