Max is a secret agent who enters Ausable's room to take an important report from him. He is slender, not very tall, and has sharp features that land him the cunningness of a fox. Max does not look threatening at all .He is incautious and credulous to the extent that he cannot look through Ausable's lies and readily believes whatever Aisable tells him. Mex doesn't fit the role of a secret agent at all and is no match for Ausable's smartness. Due to his foolishness, he fails miserably in his mission and meet his end.
