Agriculture is considered as the main important factor of national economy of India in following ways. 1.Agriculture is is a primary activity in India, and support varieties of secondary and tertiary activities through transportation and other services. 2.50 percent of Indian population depends on agriculture for their sustainance. 3.Agricultural production in India harnesses it's economy through various institutions like PDS, Mid-day meal, etc.
