The athletes at the medal ceremony of Mexico Olympics received their medals in following ways,. 1.They received their medals wearing black socks and no shoes to represent Black Poverty. 2.With this gesture, they tried to draw world attention to the racial discrimination in USA. 3.The black-gloved raise clenched fists symbolised Black Power.
