Baking soda _the chemical formula of baking soda is NaHCO3 .It is also known as Sodium hydrogen carbonate .Baking powder is made by baking soda and used for baking cake.

  • Baking powder contains sodium bicarbonate, but it includes the acidifying agent already (cream of tartar), and also a drying agent (usually starch).
