    Centralisation- It is an element in the organisational structure where the decision making authority is restricted at one and only one level of Management.

    Suitability- Small organisations

    Organisations dealing in limited number of products and services

    Decentralisation- It is the systematic and deliberate sharing of the decision making authority at various levels of organisation. 

    Suitability- Medium and large organisations

    Organisations dealing in large number of products and servcies

    Organisations having a wider geographic network
