The Binomial Theorem is a quick way of expanding a binomial expression that has been raised to some (generally inconveniently large) power.
Example :
(103)3
Here, 103 can be written as 100 + 3.
(103)3 = (100 + 3)3
= 3C0 (100)3 + 3C1 (100)2 3 + 3C2 (100)1 32 + 3C3(100)0 33
= 1000000 + 9 {tex}\times{/tex} 10000 + 3 {tex}\times{/tex} 9 {tex}\times{/tex} 100 + 27
= 1000000 + 90000 + 2700 + 27
= 1092727
