The sum of two angle is 90 degree is known as complementary angle. The sum of two angle is 180 degree is known as supplementary angle.

If u add the 2 angles measures...and if it is 90° then it is called Complementary angles...and both of the angles r called "complements"same the next would be 180° k ....
