Let p(x) = x3 + 3x2 + 3x + 1
5 + 2x = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} 2x = -5
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} x =  -{tex}\frac{5}{2}{/tex}
 = (-{tex}\frac{5}{2}{/tex})3 + 3(-{tex}\frac{5}{2}{/tex})2 + 3(-{tex}\frac{5}{2}{/tex}) + 1
 = -{tex}\frac{125}{8}{/tex} + {tex}\frac{75}{4}{/tex} - {tex}\frac{15}{2}{/tex} + 1 = -{tex}\frac{27}{8}{/tex}
