Given polynomial is p(x) = 2x- x2- 5x - 2
 and  -1 and 2 are zeroes of polynomial.
{tex}\therefore{/tex} {x - (-1)} (x - 2)= ( x + 1) (x - 2) = x2 - 2x + x - 2  = x2- x - 2 is a factor of p(x)

For other zeroes, 2x + 1 = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow x = \frac { - 1 } { 2 }{/tex}
{tex}\therefore{/tex} Other zero = {tex}\frac { - 1 } { 2 }{/tex}
