(Let x=0.4777..... 1eq. )then multiply by 100 on both the side so,(100x= 47.7777...2 eq. )subtract 1 from 2 eq. 100x- x=47.777..-0.477.... 99x = 47.3=473x/990

Let x= 0.4777.......(I) then, 10x= 4.777..........(II) 100x= 47.777..........(III) Now, subtract (III) and (II) So, 100x-10x= 47.777…....- 4.777........ 90x= 43 x= 43/90
