    We have different identities in different contexts. It can be proved by the following points:

    1. Social divisions in society are inevitable. They occur due to accident of birth or sometimes due to our choices. 
    2. People usually perceive their identities on the basis of their religion, caste, language, social status and educational qualification or occupation.
    3. It is fairly common for people belonging to the same religions to feel that they do not belong to the same community because their caste is different.
    4. It is also possible for people from different religions to have the same caste and feel close to each other.
    5. Rich and poor persons from the same family often do not keep close relations with each other for they feel they are different.
