commutative property explains that order of terms doesn’t matters, result will be same. That is, suppose two numbers A<amp-mathml data-formula="\[A\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml> and B<amp-mathml data-formula="\[B\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml> on addition gives a sum C<amp-mathml data-formula="\[C\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml>, then:
A + B = B + A = C
For example, 4+ 3 = 3 + 4 = 7 here, whether 3<amp-mathml data-formula="\[3\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml> come before or after the plus sign, the sum of 4<amp-mathml data-formula="\[4\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml> and 3<amp-mathml data-formula="\[3\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml> will be always 7<amp-mathml data-formula="\[7\]" inline="" layout="container"></amp-mathml> irrespective of their order.

Commutative law is applicable to multiplication also i.e. the multiplication properties of commutative law. For example, 2 × 3 = 6 = 3 × 2
