The liquid which circulates and carries materials in the lymphatic system is called lymph. Two functions of lymph are follows: 1.Lymph protects the body by killing the germs drained out of the body tissues with the help of lymphocytes contained in the lymph nodes , and making antibodies. 2.Lymph helps in removing the waste products like fragments of dead cells,etc.

Lymph is a fluid containing infection fighting wbc throughout the body and function is it transport wbc to and from the lymph nodes into the bones one more lymph is responsible for the removal of interstitial fluid from tissues
