The sum of numerator and denominator of a fraction is 3 less than the twice the denominator. If each of the numerator and denominator decreased by 1 the fraction becomes 1/2. Find the fraction I want the solution please

    Let the numerator be c and denomrnator be y. Fraction=x/y , A/q , x+y=2y-3 , x+y-2y=-3 , x-y=-3 ------------------------(i) , And, x-1/y-1=1/2 , 2x-2=y-1 , 2x-y=1 ----------------------(ii) , By solving equation (i)&(ii) we get , y=7 , Putting value of y in equ.(i), x=4 , Fraction=4/7
