Muhammad ghori was the ruler of a small kindom of ghori in Afghanistan. he conquered ghazni .he place it under the charge of his brother and decided to turn his attention towards India to expand his empire unlike Mahmud ghazni The credit of the founding of Muslim empire in india goes to Muhammad ghori he occupied Peshawar, Lahore, and sindh. He was defeated in the first battle of tarain by phrithviraj chaihan in 1191-1192 but was victorious in the second battle of tarain and took Delhi and Ajmer. A fierce battle took place between the Muslims and the Rajputs. King Jaichand who was the king of kannauj he was defeated by mahumad ghori .mahumad ghori put his territory under the charge of his trusted slave and general Qutubuddin Aibek. On 15th March, 1206 Muhammad ghori was killed by a Khokhar soldier. The command of Indian territory came under Qutubuddin Aibek who was Ghoris slave. Aibek establied Slave dynasty. And hence.
