Given numbers are -2 and 5.
A rational number between - 2 and 5 is {tex}\frac{1}{2}[-2+5]=\frac{3}{2}{/tex}
A rational number between {tex}\frac{3}{2}{/tex} and 5 is {tex}\frac{1}{2}\left[\frac{3}{2}+5\right]=\frac{1}{2}\left[\frac{3+10}{2}\right]=\frac{13}{4}{/tex}
Therefore, two rational numbers between -2 and 5 are {tex}\frac{3}{2} {/tex}and {tex}\frac{13}{4}.{/tex}
