Given numbers are {tex}\frac{1}{7}{/tex}and {tex}\frac{2}{7}.{/tex}
{tex}\frac{1}{7}=0.142857142857 \ldots{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \frac{1}{7}=0 . \overline{142857}{/tex}
{tex}\frac{2}{7}=2 \times \frac{1}{7}=0.285714285714 \ldots{/tex}
{tex}\Rightarrow \quad \frac{2}{7}=0 . \overline{285714}{/tex}
To find irrational numbers between {tex}\frac{1}{7}{/tex}and {tex}\frac{2}{7}{/tex}, we find numbers which are non-terminating and non-repeating.
There are infinitely many such numbers lying between {tex}\frac{1}{7}{/tex}and {tex}\frac{2}{7}{/tex}.
Examples:
etc..
