We have
{tex}E_{(Cu^{2+}/Cu)}^\Theta=0.34V {/tex} and {tex}E_{(Ag^+/Ag)}^\Theta=0.80V {/tex}
Standard emf of Cu is less than Ag, therefore it is strong reducing agent and is oxidised. Therefore Cu acts as Anode and Ag acts as Cathode.
Half cell reactions are:
At Cathode (Reduction):
{tex}2Ag^+(aq)+2e^-\rightarrow2Ag(s){/tex}
At Anode (Oxidation):
{tex}Cu(s)\rightarrow Cu^{2+}(aq)+2e^- {/tex}
