It is equal to rate of reaction when concentration of each of the reactant is unity

Swati Singh 6 years, 6 months ago

Rate constant is the proportionality constant in the rate law that simply relates rate of the reaction with the concentration of the reactants raised to some powers(which may or may not be equal to stoichiometric co-efficients). Its unit depends upon the rate of the reaction ,equal to [mol L^-1]^(1-n) s^-1, where n is the order of the reaction.I hope the definition n formula will be useful for u!

It is define as the rate law expressionless when concentration of reactant become unity
