The bond which is formed by sharing of electrons among atoms is called covalent bond. There are three types of covalent bond. 1- Single covalent bond 2-Double covalent bond 3-Triple covalent bond Ionic bond is used between positive ion and negative ion. Electrons donated by element get positive charge on it and those elements which gain electron gets negative charge on it.
