Converging tectonic plates	Diverging tectonic plates
The plates when pushed together to each other are known as converging plates	The plates when move away from each other are known as diverging plates
They cause floods.	This causes fractures in the crust.
These are destructive as they result in the removal of a part of the surface crust.	They are said to be constructive as they add materials to the crystal surface.
They form a convergent boundary.	They form divergent boundaries.
These plates form mountains.	These spread over the ocean floor.
