At first, this would not be of 5 marks it can be 2 or 3 marks question and it not be that much complicated. We can just write the main points like to prevent further expansion of france in future , restore the bourbon dynasty etc.

The main aim was to undo most of the changes that had come about in Europe during the Napoleonic wars.

The main aim of the Treaty of Vienna (1815) was to generate a long term peace plan for Europe. In order to maintain peace, the members of this meeting (France, Great Britain, Prussia, etc.) agreed upon new national boundaries and re-organized territories. Within this new boundaries, the members of this meeting wanted to ensure that no one country would have too much power or influence in Europe. By balancing out the amount of territory and political power each country had, these nations hoped that this would prevent any future conflicts in Europe.
