    When a positive charge "+q" is placed near the uncharged metal plate then Equal charge of opposite nature induces in the surface of conductor nearer to the source charge which can be shown as -

    Electric lines of forces should fall normally is at 90°on the conducting plate as the electric field lines are always perpendicular to the conductor.
