x = -2
f(x) = 4x2-x+k
4(-2)2 - (-2)+ k = 0
4(4) + 4 + k = 0
16 + 4 + k = 0
20 + k = 0
k = -20

You have written 4 but I think here must beinstead of 4

f(x) = 4x2-x+k
4(-2)2 - (-2)+ k = 0
4(4) + 4 + k = 0
16 + 4 + k = 0
20 + k = 0
k = -20
