No there no there was no any British Nation existing before the 18th century because the people living in British isle were devided on ethnic composition they were known as the English Welsh Scott or irish.they all have different cultures and traditions . Letter on as England gained study development in its economic standards and became powerful it was able to extend its influence on other countries of island handmade all of them as part of Britain
