We need to make the whole numbers as a rational number by multiplying and dividing the numerator and the denominator with the same number
Thus, We have,
-1 = $-\frac{1}{1}=\frac{-1 \times 10}{1 \times 10}=-\frac{10}{10}$
1 = $\frac{1}{1}=\frac{1 \times 10}{1 \times 10}=\frac{10}{10}$
So, $-\frac{9}{10}<-\frac{8}{10}<-\frac{7}{10}<-\frac{6}{10}<-\frac{5}{10}<-\frac{4}{10}<-\frac{3}{10}$
or - 1 $-\frac{9}{10}<-\frac{8}{10}<-\frac{7}{10}<-\frac{6}{10}<-\frac{5}{10}<-\frac{4}{10}<-\frac{3}{10} < 1$
$\therefore$ four rational numbers between –1 and 1 are
$-\frac{9}{10},-\frac{8}{10},-\frac{7}{10},-\frac{6}{10}$
