Limitations : 1.Raoult's law is applicable only to very dilute solutions. Raoult's law is applicable to solutions containing non-volatile solute only. 2.Raoult's law is not applicable to solutes which dissociate or associate in the particular solution.

Limitation of Raoult 's Law :
1. In case of the solution of an electrolyte this law is not applicable .
2. Raoult 's law is not applicable in case of volatile solvent .
3. Raoult 's law is applicable only in case of an ideal sollution
