Let the initial concentration be a0
2/3 life means the initial concentration becomes (2/3) of a0. ( As in half life, the initial concentration becomes half of the initial concentration ).
Therefore concentration left a0 - (2a0/3) =a0/3
We have t2/3 = 2.303/( 5 x 10-14) log(a0/a0/3)
= 4.606 x 1013 x log 3
= 2.1976 x 1013 s
