Distance = 10 units
√ (13-3)2 + (m-1)2 = 10
√ (10)2 + m2 + (1)2 - 2(m)(1) = 10
Squaring both sides
(10)2 + m2 + (1)2 - 2(m)(1) = (10)2
100 + m2 + 1 - 2m = 100
m2 -2m + 1 = 100 - 100
m2 -2m+1 = 0
m2 - 1m - 1m +1 =0
m (m -1) -1( m-1) =0
( m-1) (m-1) =0
m-1=0
Therefore, m= 1
