Using mirror formula;
{tex}\frac 1f =\frac 1v + \frac 1u{/tex}
{tex}\frac {1}{-15} =\frac {1}{-5u} + \frac 1u{/tex}
{tex}\frac {1}{-15} =\frac {-1+5}{5u}{/tex}
{tex}\frac {1}{-3} =\frac {4}{u}{/tex}
u = -12 cm
