F(x) = x³+ 4x²- px + 8
as (x - 2) is a factor.
x - 2 = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} x = 2
f(2) = 8 + 16 - 2p + 8 = 0
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} 32 = 2p
{tex}\Rightarrow{/tex} p = 16
