Zero of the polynomial is -4

p(x) =x² - x - (2k +  2)

p(x) = x²-x-2k-2

p(-4)=0

0=-4²-(-4)-2k-2

0=16+4-2k-2

0=18-2k

2k=18

k=18/2=9
