For tank : l = 12 m, b = 9 m, h = 4 m
∴ Total surface area of the tank = 2(l × b + b × h + h × l)
= 2(12 × 9 + 9 × 4 + 4 × 12)
= 2(108 + 36 + 48)
= 2(192) = 384 m²
Width of the iron sheet = 2m
∴ Cost of the iron sheet = {tex}{384\over2}*5{/tex} = Rs. 960
