If x=2-root 3 Then 1/x=1/1-root 3 1/2-√3×2+√3/2+√3 2+√3/2 to the power 2-√3 to the power 2 2+√3/4-3 2+√4/1 2+√4 Now: x+1/x to the whole cube =(2-√3)+(2-√3) (X+ 1/x) to the whole cube=2+2 (X+1/x) to the whole cube =4 X+1/x to the whole cube=4 to whole cube(squaring both side) X cube +1/x cube +3×4=64 X cube +1/x cube=64-12 X cube +1/x cube=52
