According to question, p°a/ p°b= 1/3...........(1) ,,,, n1/n2= 1/3......(2) from eq(2)....x1= n1/n1+n2= 1/1+3=1/4.........here we know, x1+x2 =1.....=> x2=1-x1......(3)..... Ptotal= p°1x1+p°2x2...........= P°1(3-2x1)........(4)..........y1= p1/ptotal = p°1x1/ p°1(3-2x1)....= x1/3-2x1...= 1/4/ 3-2(1/4) ...= 1/10
