(x + a) (x + b) = x2 + (a+b)x + ab
(X+4)(x+10) = x2 + (10+4)x + 10(4)
= x2 + 14x + 40

(x) whole square + (4+10)x + (4×10) =x whole square + 14x + We have to use the identity (x+a)(x+b)= x whole square + (a+b)x + (a×b)
