Mazzini was born in Genoa in 1807. As a young man of 24 he became the member of the secret society in Carbonari. In 1831 he was sent to exile for attempting a revolution in Liguria . He found Young Italy in Marseilles and then Young Europe in Berne. He died in 1872

Mazzini was an italian revolutionary. He was born in Genoa in 1807. He became a member of secret society of Young Italy. He was a young man of 24 when sent to exile in 1831 for attempting a revolution. He founded two more underground societies namely, Young Italy and Young Europe. Mazzini's relentless opposition and his vision of democratic republic frightened conservatives . Metternich described him as "the most dangerous enemy of our social order."
