X=-1 P(x)=5x^2-3x-1 =5(-1)^2-3(-1)-1 =5+3-1 =8-1 =7 Hence,x=-1 is not a zero of p(x)

putting x=-1 we observe that the remainder of equation comes 7. so it is not zeroes of polynomial
