nPr=n!/(n-r)!, let permutations of n dissimilar things taken n at a time then nPr=nPn (r=n), nPn=n!/(n-n)!, nPn=n!/0!, here nPn=n!, n!=n!/0!,0!=n!/n!,0!=1 hence 0!=1
