x2 -(sum of zeros)(€)x+(product of zeros)(£) GIVEN = € = 1/4, £ = -1. = x2 - 1/4x -1 = 4×x2 -4×1/4x -1 = 4x2 -1x -1 Hence, the equation is 4x2 -x -1 ???
